HSA Goes "To the Movies" In 1983 we wrote and produced "FREEDOM IN DEPTH," a dynamic 25 minute documentary film, hosted by Jean-Michel Cousteau, in which 19 handicapped divers experience underwater wonders, including investigating a ship wreck and somersaulting through the Colorado River rapids. In 1991, with the Cousteau Society, we co-produced "TO FLY IN FREEDOM" - a 1/2 hour documentary shot entirely on location in Fiji. Handicapped divers and their HSA trained and certified instructors from Japan, Brazil, Russia and the USA, join Jean-Michel Cousteau to explore not only the beautiful coral reefs but the richness of this unique inter cultural event.
